Aways thought it was a bit odd that one minute Dani was the next big thing (remember seeing him do well at Stamford Bridge) but next minute he just disapeared... story makes total sense to me. Redknapp is a dinasour that is thankfully now nearly extinct.

Does it sound like Redknapp? Yep. But did Dani go on to bigger and better things and get a reputation as a model pro? No. Didn't he retire at abot 27 as he couldn't get a club and take up modelling?
What Dani says about Harry is probably nearly 100% true. What Harry says about Dani is probably also partly true. Skillful player on his day but probably an example of two dodgy characters in their own ways meeting each other, and a situation that was never going to work.
Bilic was with us at the time wasn't he? Not that he is obliged to say anything but it would be interesting to hear his side of this if we ever did.
Porfirio was the better Portugese loanee around that time by some way anyway.

Sounds like the sort of thing harry would do. Dani failed to live up to expectation but I believe is well regarded by fans at Ajax.
